Single Origins vs Coffee blends
When it comes to coffee, blends and single origins offer two very distinct experiences.
What's the difference?
Single Origin Coffee,
is made from beans sourced from one specific region, farm, or even a single lot. These coffees allow drinkers to taste the unique characteristics of the beans from that specific location. Single origins often have distinct flavors tied to the region’s climate, altitude, and soil, showcasing bright acidity, fruity notes, or floral undertones. It’s a great choice for coffee enthusiasts who want to explore the terroir of different regions and appreciate the pure, unblended taste of a specific place.
Coffee Blends;
are created by mixing beans from different regions or even different countries to achieve a balanced, consistent flavor profile. The idea behind a blend is to combine the strengths of each bean—whether it’s the boldness of a Robusta or the smooth, fruity notes of an Arabica. Blends are often crafted to highlight certain flavors, such as chocolate, nutty, or caramel tones, making them perfect for espresso-based drinks where consistency and creaminess are key. They’re also ideal for those who enjoy a well-rounded, approachable cup of coffee.
In short, coffee blends offer a harmonious mix of flavors for a consistent, enjoyable cup, while single origin coffee highlights the unique character of a single region’s beans, making each cup a one-of-a-kind experience.
Coffee is a serious business
and for many of us, we agree! Did you know that there are a total of 16 different types of roast?
We chose a Medium-Dark Roast, which in short is called Italian Roast.
This roast perfectly complements our creamy, dessert-like drinks, creating a balanced and indulgent experience. The smooth, full-bodied flavor of the Italian roast enhances the rich, creamy texture we aim for, making each sip a satisfying blend of boldness and sweetness.
- Flavor: Richer, with deeper caramelization and a fuller body. Slightly bittersweet, with hints of dark chocolate or spice.
- Color: Dark brown, with some oil on the surface.
- Caffeine: Slightly less caffeine than lighter roasts.
- Acidity: Least acidity, pronounced smooth finish

WE DON'T LIKE ACIDIC COFFEE BLENDS!
We seriously hate acidic coffee blends which is why we spent so many years drinking different types of coffee to create our OWN SPECIAL BLEND.
Our beans comes from multiple different sources and even though dark roast removes acidictity completely, we found that it coffee just tasted burnt. Which was also the reason why we decided on a medium-dark roast to ensure there are at least some depth to the flavor profile.
