We don't want to put you through what we experienced

We (the founders) have had a fair share of really bad quality Matcha, and did you know that, even if you were to go Uji, the birthplace of the highest quality Matcha in Japan, there are still lower quality Matchas?

Our supplier is handpicked by us and we went through a lot of rounds with multiple farms.
JAS approved farms are tough to come by and they usually have stricter rules, and we managed to secure a supplier there! Yay!

By selecting matcha from Uji, Kyoto, we ensure that every sip delivers the authentic, umami-rich taste that true matcha lovers crave. The tea leaves are carefully shaded to increase chlorophyll and amino acid content, giving the matcha a naturally sweet flavor and brilliant green color. We believe in providing the best, which is why we only trust Uji’s unparalleled reputation for premium matcha.

Creamie Sippies 🫶 You

We strongly believe that affordability doesn't equate to quality
We're here to change that and we're to provide you guys quality assurance

Ceremonial grade matchas are usually used in tea ceremonies in Japan and they are usually really costly. It's because they are made from the youngest of tea leaves and delivers a smooth and vibrant finish with almost no bitterness and only sweetness.

We’re committed to quality over quantity, and by offering ceremonial grade matcha only, we give our customers the best in taste, texture, and authenticity.
It’s not just about having matcha—it’s about enjoying the purest, most indulgent version of it.

Ways to enjoy Matcha

There are multiple ways we can enjoy Matcha

  1. Everyone's favorite - Matcha Latte
  2. Something refreshing - Matcha Lemonade
  3. Snackish? Make Matcha desserts, like cookies or cakes
  4. Traditional ways of preparing Matcha- Usucha (Thin tea) or Koicha (Thick Tea)

The golden ratio in getting thick and creamie Matcha

Is there really a fixed ratio in getting the perfect, thick and creamie Matcha?

Many have tried to get the perfect consistency for their Matcha, some argue that adding sweeteners (sugar, honey, etc) will stabilise the Matcha

While others argue that "Cold whisking" is the perfect way to getting creamie Matcha.
But
It all boils down the to quality of the Matcha. If the quality is lower, the Matcha produced will not be of high quality. Simple as that!
We do recommend our customers to try to find your own perfect ratio when it comes to making Matcha, it still boils down to preference!

Our founders like to use 4g of Matcha to 45g of 75deg C warm water! Maybe you could start with this and see if it works for you!

Creamie Sippies 🩷 Sustainability

It is actually one of our core values!

Which is why we chose to source our Matcha from JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standard) approved farm! These farms have stricter guidelines to ensure that their tea production are environmentally friendly and socially responsible!

  • Chemical-Free Farming: JAS certification guarantees that the matcha is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers, preserving soil health and protecting ecosystems.
  • Biodiversity Conservation: The farms we work with prioritize sustainable land management practices, promoting biodiversity and maintaining the natural balance of the surrounding environment.
  • Energy Efficiency: JAS-approved farms often implement energy-saving techniques to reduce their carbon footprint, ensuring that matcha production is as eco-friendly as possible.
  • Support for Local Communities: By choosing JAS-approved matcha, we’re supporting small-scale farmers (small businesses just like us!) who uphold these sustainable practices, helping them thrive while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

This commitment to sustainability allows us to bring you matcha that’s not only delicious but also produced in a way that respects the environment and future generations. 🩷🩷
